從事定格動畫多年，Emily喜愛把不同材料造成角色或物件、遂格拍攝着讓它們活起來充滿生命的樣子。她一心創作出有個性有靈魂的作品——最好還有些原創感。她的定格動畫短片曾獲邀參加七十多個國際電影節，並獲得一些獎項。Emily亦在香港與台灣兩地教授定格動畫，平日會閱讀小說、文史哲等書類，從書裡思考生命是什麼，從創作中找到快樂，娛己娛人，也順道學習怎麼在混亂中保持優雅、鎮定。
Emily has been working in stop-motion animation for years. She is passionate about bringing characters and objects—made from all sorts of materials—to life on screen. She loves to create works with personality, soul and with a touch of delightful weirdness. Her stop-motion short films have been selected by over 70 international film festivals and have picked up a few awards along the way. Emily also teaches stop-motion in both Hong Kong and Taiwan. Off-screen, she enjoys reading novels, history, and philosophy—pondering the meaning of life one page at a time. Through her art, she finds joy (and hopefully spreads some too), while also learning how to stay graceful and composed….even when everything’s in glorious chaos.
